11/8/2017 - Charleston Outlaws vs Augusta
Saturday November 11th at 1pm
2079 Austin Ave. Charleston, SC 29405
Saturday will be Women’s Day. All ladies are invited. We will be selling “Ruck Cancer” T-Shirts and the boys will be wearing pink socks. Profits will go to MUSC Cancer Center. Please come out to support the club and the cause!!
10/23/2017 - As some of you may know, Mark Heslin aka Shark, former Outlaw player and his wife Marge, have for the past 5 months spent every available minute by the side of their precious baby daughter Emma, as she fights for her life in the ICU at MUSC.
While sending daily prayers to the man upstairs and checking in with Shark for updates, myself like many other former Outlaws have been discussing what we can do as their extended family to not only offer our support but also provide some practical help in the form of some cash – while none of us can imagine what Shark and Marge go through each day on an emotional level we can perhaps relate to the financial strain.
A email from Bob DeSalvo last week wanting to know what we can do for the family lead to a few beers with Bob Citrolo this past Sunday where we hatched the idea of doing a golf fundraiser. This morning, Bob Citrolo and I met with the official at the Charleston Muni Golf Course and we have booked out the entire course for Friday, November 10th 2017.
The goal is to get 18 foursomes for a total of 72 players. At this stage of the planning process whether you play golf or not is totally irrelevant. What I need from you is your commitment to be one of the 72 and commit to doing your part for Shark, Marge and baby Emma. This will be a special day for all of us. The invite is not specific to current or past players it extends to friends, family and beyond so please spread the word.
Please respond back to me only to confirm you are a YES
Once you have committed, we will begin sending out the specific details related to the day (cost, food and beverage, prizes etc.)
Book the day off and committ!
With much appreciation,
