Joining the Outlaws
The Outlaws welcome anyone who is interested in becoming a part of the rugby community.
Minimum age to play is 18 years old. No experience is required to join the club.
Whether you are an experienced player or just learning the game, come to practice, make new friends, and discover why rugby is one of the most popular sports in the world!

which will let the team know some
basics about your skill level & experience.
Join us at practice
Practice happens on Tuesdays & Thursdays from
7:20 PM to 9:30 PM at Citadel's Wilson Field.
Access is through the main citadel gate, located at 171 Moultrie Street.
Next Step Step 2Pay your club dues
To be a member of the Outlaws Rugby Club,
one is required to pay dues to the club.
Additionally, you are also required to register (CIPP)
through USA Rugby to be eligible to play.
Dues do not pay for travel, insurance, or registration.
Dues cover operational costs only.
Recommended Equipment & Game Day Prep
No specific gear is required to practice with the Outlaws, but for game day,
if you are asked to start or
may
subbing into a game, there are some specific requirements.
Practice Gear
- Shorts
- Athletic/work-out shirt*
- Cleats(suitable for artificial turf, no toe cleat)
- Mouth guard/Gum shield
- Towel
- Water
Game Day Requirements
- Warm Up (Warm up will be included in your dues, or provided for purchase from club)*
- Black rugby shorts
- Black Socks
- Surface appropriate footwear
- Mouthguard
Recommended, but Optional
- Scrum Cap
- High Socks (Injury Prevention)
